Bigmoe's Hidden Hitch Fits all years VN900 Classic, VN900 Classic LT and I can slightly modify (no charge) to fit the VN900 Custom*(see below). How many times do you take the car because there is no room to take the stuff you need on your Vulcan? If you pull a trailer you can use your bike more often. Camping equipment, beer cooler, lawn chairs, golf clubs. You can use it to do deliveries and pickups or get groceries. No need to strap a ton of stuff to the bike, just put it in the trailer. Unhook the trailer and the bike is free and bare of extra stuff. I pre-owned to work in metal fabrication so I made my own hitch when I saw how expensive other ones on the market were ($365+). I improved my hitch so the receiver is more vertical allowing easy removal of the tongue and ball. Just pull the pin and remove, no tools required. With the tongue removed there is no evidence of a hitch. No ugly brackets to ruin the look of your bike. I had numerous requests to make them for other 900 owners and now I produce them for sale. It's the only model I make so I've been able to give it special attention to make it the best it can be. The instructions I've developed are very detailed and easy to follow. This install can be done by someone with minimal wrenching skills and the most specialized tool is an Allen wrench. The current model is CNC plasma cut from plate steel and it is very sturdy.
