U.S. Army Knapsack Back-pack Haversack Bag Ind. Tent &Awning 1942 WW II Vintage Meaurements: Approximately. 20” long x 12” widex 7” deep Weight: 2 pounds. 5.5oz. (1.06 kg) This vintage knapsack is in very good, vintagecondition. Major flaw is the brokenzipper on the pouch on the top flap. Someof the metal fasteners and strap ends show some rust or discoloration from ageand use, but no significant damage. There are also some dirty areas and light stains - camera flash has highlighted some of these. All straps and buckles are solid andfunctional. Drawstring to close bag isoriginal and in attractive shape. It is nicely stamped inside “Indianapolis Tent& Awing Co. 1942”. On the outside inhand-printed, black lettering is “STAG P.” It’s an authentic WW II artifact, plus it’s roomy,adjustable and able to carry a lot of your stuff … a great find for someone!
